The 24,400-gt Stena Egeria(built 2011) will be deployed on a service linking China and South Korea. Nofinancial details were disclosed.
Theship will operate three roundtrips per week from July on the 273nm voyagebetween Yantai and Pyeongtaek.
Thevessel was acquired by Stena RoRo in late 2013 as the Hoa Sen from Vietnameseshipowner Vinashin who originally paid $87m for the ship.
Ithas since undergone convertion work and has been extensively upgraded by theChengxi Shipyard in China.
