The company said the Gulf Brazil Service (GBS)will deploy nine 2,800-teu ships from mid-June.
This will cut transit times and extendedport coverage, it added.
Port rotation is Cristobal – Kingston –Vera Cruz – Altamira – Houston – Kingston – Cristobal – Port Of Spain – Santos – Navagantes – Paranagua – Rio De Janeiro – Vila De Conde – Cristobal.
The weekly, fixed-day service isbeing run in cooperation with MSC.
