French liner operator CMA CGM said today that the boxes one of its largest containerships will display a collage by compatriot artist and photographer JR.
The 13,900-teu CMA CGM Magellan (built 2010) will leave Le Havre on 3 July with the work on its starboard side as it heads to Asia via the Suez Canal.
The artwork, which will use more than 150 containers, is part of the Terre d’Eaux festival in the French city.
