The route also entails calls at Patmos, Lipsi, Leros and Kalymnos.
The islands themselves have been calling for the service to be introduced, the Ansa news agency said.
The run will be three times a week from 1 May until 30 September 2015.
Bids can be submitted from 25 August this year.
