Canada's BC Ferries is tendering for a big ferry upgrade job to convert two ships to dual-fuel.
The mid-life work could be worth up to $60m, local reports said.
Two Spirit-class vessels will be modified in 2016 and 2017.
Several Canadian yards will be hopeful of winning the work.
