The German owner said the6,732-teu ship (built 2001) will leave the Daewoo shipyard in Mangalia, Romania, and call at La Spezia in Italy on 23 July.

After being docked at the yard since February 2014, the vessel will be phased back into service for MSC.

“The aim of the modifications to the original design was to reduce fuel consumption and to make the vessel more efficient and economic overall,” NSB said.
