The boxship and tanker company said net earnings to 30 June were $4.28m from a loss of $3.59m in the same period of 2013.
Revenue dropped to $97m from $105m, while costs were reduced much fast at $89m, compared to $104m the year before.
It disposed of three under-performing tankers and barges in the period and pledged to do the same again to improve efficiency.
