TradeWinds reported last week that the company returned to profit and managed to cut operating costs.
The Taiwanese carrier posted net income of TWD 150.2m ($5m) while operating costs went down to TWD 33bn, from last year’s TWD 36bn.
An Evergreen spokesman said: “By joining CKYHE alliance in the Far East-Europe trade and enhancing service cooperation in other markets, we are able to increase service frequencies, add more direct service to our network and cut transhipment costs.”
