The ferry and ro-ro operator’s Atlantica SpA Navigation arm teamed up with compatriot terminal operator Fremura to take part in a capital increase in Co.I.FI, a financial vehicle that is a 33% partner in Sintermar.
Grimaldi did not disclose financial details of the transaction.
The Naples-based group said the alliance with Fremura is part of an investment strategy aimed at boosting port infrastructure in Livorno.
