The company said it had agreed the fine with the US department of justice (DoJ) to resolve allegations that it violated US laws.
“K Line has cooperated fully with the DoJ’s investigation and will continue to do so,” it said.
It added it took the the matter seriously and had taken steps to "further strengthen its compliance and training programs to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations."
