The latest twist in the saga came after an Icelandic TV station, RUV, claimed this week that CEO Gylfi Sigfusson and other executives were to be reported by the Icelandic competition authority (ICA) to the special prosecutor's office over alleged anti-competitive behaviour.
As a response, the ICA said it could not confirm the TV coverage and emphasised that the investigation had not reached the stage where its conclusion could be predicted.
