The Dubai ports giant handled 15.4m teu during the three-month period compared to 14.2m teu in the corresponding quarter.
Its traditionally busiest operational areas – Asia Pacific, India, Europe and UAE – booked a quarterly volume rise of 10%.
Jebel Ali, the group’s flagship, handled 4m teu in the third quarter, setting a new record and raising its sights for a total 19m teu by the second half of 2015.
