It said three vessels will be delivered to an unnamed European owner by February 2017.
The shipbuilder did not reveal the size, but the individual price tag of $155m means they could rival some of the biggest units ever ordered.
China’s Bank of Communications (BoCom) has five 19,000-teu ships on order at DSME.
And in August, the Scorpio group ordered three vessels at $155m, with London broker Clarksons pinning the capacity at a record-breaking 19,200 teu.
