The company has not received a new delivery date for the gas-powered 600-passenger Samso from Remontowa in Poland, Maritime Denmark reported.
It was ordered at a cost of $35m last year for delivery this September but has not yet successfully completed sea trials.
The charter of the 2,200-gt Ane Laeso (built 1995) from Laeso Faergelselskabet has been extended until 31 January.
The ship operates between Jylland and Samso.
