Traxens was founded in 2012 by four engineers and specialises in real-time information.
CMA CGM already owns 20% of equity interest in Traxens and will finance new research and development programs alongside funds from Credit Agricole and BPPC Group.
In 2015, Traxens will equip the first CMA CGM containers with its systems, which make it possible to obtain real-time information about the cargo’s position, temperature, any attempted burglary and the presence of traces of specific substances in the air.
