Rabi Fallah Jelodar said agreements should be signed to expand shipping lines between Mazandaran and Astrakhan, according to Iran’s Mehr news agency.
Mazandaran is ready to export chicken meat, vegetables, fruit and cement to Russia, he added.
The expansion of tourism will also be discussed with Astrakhan officials.
The two sides have already signed deals to expand cooperation in the field of agriculture, industry, mining and engineering.
