The US-listed company said the figure was $27.7m versus the $68.2m seen a year ago, a change of some $40.4m.
However, normalised net earnings, which do not include a number of non-cash and one-time items, increased 20% to $40.1m.
For the full-year reported net earnings were down 56% to $131.2m, while normalised net earnings rose 14.6% to $139m.
Revenue increased by 10% to $189.4m
