The crew members from the 78,000–gt Norwegian Sun (built 2001) were arrested over the weekend, the Tampa Tribune said.
Investigators said they were found bringing in 7kg of the drug from Honduras.
Jason Carmichael, Arkine John, Alfred Ince, Teffan Delice and Johnson Cherubin, who are listed as galley workers, attracted the attention of customs officials as they were leaving the vessel, according to a federal affidavit.
