The company said Luis Ayala Colon Sucrs is buying certain parts of its San Juan interests.
It has also signed over its lease with the Puerto Rico Ports Authority from Wednesday.
The deal followed the shipowner’s announcement last November that it was ceasing to provide a liner service between the US and Puerto Rico.
No financial details were released.
