Diana said it has chartered the 5,047–teu Pamina (built 2005) to Zim for between 10 and 12 months at $15,325 per day.
It has recently come off a six-month contract with Shipping Corp of India (SCI) at $9,500 per day.
The vessel is now undergoing a scheduled drydocking.
It will start work for Zim by the end of May.
Pamina was bought from Claus-Peter Offen last November for $15.95m.
