Rickmers Maritime Trust has seen charter rates for two of its containerships extended at a 25% discount to what they were previously earning.
CMA CGM has extended its charter of the 4,250-teu ANL Warringa and ANL Windara (both built 2007) at a daily rate of $6,272 for up to 180 days each.
The French liner giant had been paying $8,492 per day for each of the ships under their previous charters which are due to expire later this month.
