The Panama Canal Administration (ACP) says vessel queues have returned to normal levels, roughly three weeks after vessels faced an 11-day wait.

The agency said there were 45 vessels in the queue on Monday, which represents a maximum two-day wait.

“This reduction in the length of the queue of waiting vessels in due to improved climatological conditions and, principally, the increased resources dedicated to transit and the efforts of canal employees,” the ACP said.
