K Line has ended the 2015 fiscal year in the red posting a full-year loss of JPY 51.1bn ($457m), figures released Thursday show.
Operating revenues were down 8% year-on-year to JPY 1.2 trillion, while operating income shrank 80.4% to JPY 9.4bn.
K Line’s containership business saw revenue shrink 9.2%, or JPY 62.5bn, to JPY 614.9bn, while its bulk shipping arm saw revenue fall 5.5%
