Robert Yuksel Yildirim’s group has continued its expansion to ports and terminals worldwide with its latest investment in Sweden.
Yilport Holding, subsidiary of Yildirim Group, has taken over Gavle Container Terminal (GCT) and Baltic Sea Gateway (BSG) through a 30-year concession agreement.
The contract, which will see the Turkish company operate container, bulk, general cargo and rail services in the Swedish hub, also carries an option of another 10 years.
