AP Moller-Maersk’s Seago Line has chartered a Norddeutsche Reederei Schuldt boxship for its Spain to UK and Ireland service.
The ship will call at Algeciras, Liverpool and Dublin on a feeder run, according to Liverpool terminal company Peel Ports.
The route was started in April with Maersk's own 1,100-teu Antwerp (built 1999), which is being replaced by the new arrival.
AIS data showed that Independent Accord is due in Liverpool on Thursday, having left Algeciras on 24 July.
