The Rhode Island Senate has passed a resolution opposing the offshore Weavers Cove LNG terminal in Rhode Island.
The resolution calls on the US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) to deny approvals of the project unless the state’s Coastal Resources Management Council first approves each step, according to East Bay RI news.
