The US Department of Energy has once again pushed back the release of its report considering how much LNG can be exported from the country.

An update on the DoE’s website said the study is due to be complete by year-end.

Earlier this year, the DoE delayed release of the third-party report until late summer.

“The Department of Energy takes its statutory responsibility to make public interest determinations on natural gas export applications very seriously and is committed to taking the time necessary to get the decisions right,” said the DoE in its latest report update.
