Oslo-listed SeaBird Exploration is heading to Central America for a seismic research job.

It will carry out a long-offset survey in Belize from the middle of this month.

SeaBird will use its 3,100-gt Northern Explorer (built 1987) over three or four weeks.

Last month, the company bought a research ship it has been chartering since 2006.
