Oslo-listed Subsea 7 has landed a "substantial" contract in Egypt.

The company will work for Pharaonic Petroleum Company at water depths of more than 900 metres in the Atoll field.

The deal is worth somewhere between $150m and $300m, it said.

The contract calls for the engineering, procurement, construction and installation of more than 40km of  kilometres of rigid pipelines and associated structures for the new field, tying into the existing Taurt field at a water depth of 100 metres.
