Mokster, ER Offshore add to layup pile

Mokster Shipping and ER Offshore are laying up another three anchor-handlers (AHTSs) as owners try to bring the dire North Sea market into balance.

The 157-bp Stril Power (built 1997) was stacked in Stavanger on 27 November, Mokster confirmed to TradeWinds.

The Norwegian owner has 23 ships. Clarksons lists four of its platform supply vessels (PSVs) in layup, plus an AHTS.

Broker Westshore also said ER Offshore is sending its only two AHTSs, the 200-bp ER Luisa and ER Vittoria (both built 2010), to be stacked in Bremen, Germany.
