Nam Cheong has seen a second major offshore newbuilding contract cancelled by compatriot Perdana Petroleum.
The Malaysian offshore vessel operator said it had sent notification to the shipbuilder that it was cancelling the 500-man accommodation work barge.
Perdana said in a statement that Nam Cheong has not “fulfilled the condition of delivery of the vessel in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract”.
