Oslo-listed Subsea 7 has landed another offshore contract in Australia.

It said the "sizeable" deal, worth between $50m and $150m has been signed with Woodside Energy for the Greater Western Flank Phase 2 Project.

The owner will tie back adjacent fields to the Goodwyn Alpha (GWA) platform, including the installation of manifolds, umbilicals and spool pieces.

Offshore operations will begin in 2018.

Andy Woolgar, managing director for Australia and New Zealand, said: "We are delighted to have been awarded this project from Woodside Energy.

"This is the fourth award from Woodside in recent times, and we are pleased to be able to continue this strong working relationship."
