Bibby Offshore has announced another “significant” contract with Shell off the UK.
Work will start in the first quarter of next year at the Gannet G field in the central North Sea area.
The 6,300-dwt multipurpose dive support and offshore construction vessel Bibby Polaris (built 1998) will lay flexible pipe systems in water depths of approximately 95 metres, it said.
In early 2016, Bibby provided construction and inspection services for Shell on assets in the Corrib Natural Gas field in the North Atlantic Ocean.
