Sweden's Viking Supply Ships is targeting Russian oil and gas business through a new cooperation.
The restructured offshore owner has formed a strategic union with Russian counterpart Sevnor.
It is aiming to capitalise on work surrounding the country's Arctic and sub-Arctic oil and gas resources.
Viking has as a result decided to close its offices in Moscow and Sakhalin.
Sevnor is described as a shipping and offshore company with an extensive presence in the Russian offshore market.
