Restructured Solstad Offshore has won a contract for a construction service vessel (CSV) in western Australia.
McDermott will use the 121-metre Normand Reach (built 2014), which Solstad has on charter from Reach Subsea.
The ship is currently in Amsterdam.
It will now head to the Ichthys gas field development to assist McDermott's main construction vessel in the hook-up of an FPSO, as well as subsea activities.
