Clarksons Platou Securities has initiated coverage of Oystein Stray Spetalen’s platform supply vessel (PSV) investment company SD Standard Drilling with a buy rating.
Turner Holm, director of equity and credit research, said he expected the company to make accretive ship buys in the near future, with its cash-heavy balance sheet and no debt.
“Standard Drilling represents an opportunistic play on all-time low asset values for offshore vessels,” he added.
