Dutch owner Van Oord has clinched a contract to carry and install equipment for the UK’s East Anglia ONE offshore windfarm.
ScottishPower Renewables has signed a deal that will see the company transport 102 three-legged jacket foundations.
“This is the largest amount of three-legged foundations in a wind farm ever installed worldwide,” the owner said.
East Anglia ONE is located in the southern North Sea, 45km from the coast.
