Dutch owner Fugro has acquired a Solstad Offshore OSV that it has been chartering over the long term.
The company said the deal for the 4,100-dwt Rem Etive (built 2007) was concluded at a price "significantly more beneficial than a renewed charter agreement."
The ship will continue to work for Fugro in the Asia Pacific region and is expected to strengthen the company’s position in future subsea inspection business in the area.
