Ocean Rig has posted a huge loss of $3.7bn in the fourth quarter on the back of impairments on its drilling rig fleet of $3.75bn.
The George Economou-led drilling rig owner said revenues for the fourth quarter declined by $120.3m to $355.4m.
The poor fourth quarter helped push Ocean Rig to a full-year loss of $3.2bn against the $80m profit seen in 2015.
