One of Swiber’s diving support vessels (DSVs) has received a number of bids at auction in Singapore but not one has met the seller’s reserve price, say industry sources.
TradeWinds recently reported that a large number of interested parties were looking to bid on the 78-metre Swiber Atlantis (built 2010), which is being sold by Swiber creditor UOB in Singapore.
The DSV was thought likely to be sold for around $10m, which could be as low as one-fifth of its value in the peak market.
