Cyprus-based shipowner SeaBird Exploration has added a West African survey to its backlog.
The company said the 2D seismic job will start in the second quarter and last for one month.
It will use the 2,100-dwt Osprey Explorer (built 1985) for the project, it added, without naming the client.
SeaBird is listed in Oslo and said in February it would carry out a financial restructuring due to tough markets.
