Icon Offshore has secured a charter from the Malaysian arm of energy giant Shell, the company tells TradeWinds.
Sarawak Shell Berhad/Sabah Shell Petroleum Co will take one of the company’s anchor handlers for a period of up to 10 months.
The Malaysian offshore vessel operator said the contract is worth MYR 5.4m ($1.26m) and is due to commence immediately.
“This contract wins is a testament to the team’s ongoing efforts through our operating performance and excellent customer relationship,” said Icon managing director Amir Hamzah Azizan.
