Uncertainty reigns over the eventual status of some offshore support vessels (OSVs) in the Middle East after the flare-up in tensions between Qatar and member states in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
No clear, official policy has been released on OSVs, after several GCC countries, including big OSV employers such as Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), cut diplomatic ties with Qatar last week.
