Germany's ER Schiffahrt will manage another three boxships for Maersk Line.

The Hamburg-based manager said the deal comprises a trio of 8,400-teu container vessels and includes crew and technical management.

It will also handle additional services relating to safety and security, environmental protection and energy efficiency.

ER now manages nine boxships for Maersk.

“We are pleased to manage three further vessels for Maersk Line and thus be able to deepen the successful partnership that we started one and a half years ago,” said CEO Nils Aden.
