US owner Seacor Marine Holdings has clinched a liftboat joint venture (JV) with Montco Offshore.
The Seacor Holdings spin-off put in a bid for its compatriot in June after Houston-based Montco had filed for bankruptcy.
Seacor Marine CEO John Gellert said it had now entered into a definitive agreement to create a joint venture which would see it emerge with a 19-ship fleet.
