Herbjorn Hansson’s Nordic American Offshore says it is setting vessels to work in an improving market and is open to pulling ships out of lay-up if necessary.
New York-listed NAO says in July it fixed out a vessel for seven months firm, with three months of options, at $7,200 per day.
This has been followed by 15 charters at between $7,200 per day and $21,000 per day last month.
