Per Saevik’s Havyard is hopeful of securing an operating profit in 2017 despite falling into the red in the first half.

The company says 2017 will be a low year of shipbuilding activity but is sighting a positive operating result.

Havyard logged an operating loss of NOK 10m ($1.3m) for the opening six months of the year, with NOK 14m lost in the second quarter.
