Dutch owner Vroon has chartered out a new accommodation vessel to E.On.
The company said the 3,400-gt VOS Stone (built 2017) will work at the Arkona offshore wind farm in Germany.
The ship was handed over by Fujian Southeast Shipbuilding in China in July .
It will undergo final outfitting works in the Netherlands. The contract begins in mid-2018.
"The vessel is a state-of-the-art subsea-support walk-to-work vessel and sister vessel of VOS Start, currently employed at the Walney Extension Offshore Wind Farm in the Irish Sea," Vroon said.
