Thailand's Mermaid Maritime has extended an OSV charter in the Middle East for $96m.
The company said its 5,000-dwt Mermaid Asiana (buit 2010) will keep working for an unnamed oil major.
There is also a one-year option attached to the deal.
The ship, run by a joint venture, will carry out offshore inspection, repair and maintenance services.
It was originally charered for five years.
