UK anchor-handler rates have followed Norwegian earnings into a slump due to an over-tonnaged North Sea spot market.
Brokers reported on Wednesday that ConocoPhillips had fixed a trio of vessels owned by Viking Supply, Bukser og Berging and Swire Pacific Offshore (SPO) for £5,000 ($6,600) per day.
They will move the Ensco 120 rig over two weeks.
OMC paid the same rate for another SPO vessel and £6,000 per day for a Siem Offshore vessel on Monday.
